Description:
The COBRE funding opportunity is a part of the congressionally mandated IDeA program which focuses on developing biomedical research capacity at institutions located in jurisdictions that have historically received low levels of NIH funding. COBRE-D (Development Phase) focuses on supporting a long-term institutional vision leading to the creation of a center in a broad area of biomedical research that is currently not supported at the applicant organization by recruiting early career faculty, establishing research facilities, and enhancing research administration.
