Join OLAW for a webinar, The Research Animal Coordinator: A Tool to Foster a Culture of Compliance, on September 18 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm ET. Guest speakers from Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will talk about their institution’s journeys of engaging the research communities as partners in the IACUC-mandated process of program oversight. They will describe the efforts of partnering with their researchers to create operational layers of training, monitoring, and compliance assurance. In doing so, their efforts have helped to foster a more supportive research environment while decreasing institutional risk and increasing researcher ownership of animal care and use activities.
