In the November 3, 1998 issue of the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts, The
National Cancer Institute (NCI) announced the availability of administrative
supplements to NCI-funded research project (R01) and program project (P01)
grants to assist with unanticipated costs associated with the development and
validation of mouse models of human cancer. The NCI wishes to expand the
availability of administrative supplements to NCI-funded R29 grants and U01
cooperative agreements in addition to the funding mechanisms cited in the
original Notice.  All other aspects of the Notice remain unchanged, and can be
