Purpose

The Allowed Subaward/Consortium costs are clarified for the purpose of budget preparation.

Part 2. Section II. Award Information. An applicant may request a budget for Direct Costs of up to $400,000 per year. Facilities and Administrative (F&A) costs requested by consortium participants must be included in the Direct Cost limitation.

Part 2. Section IV, Number 6, Other Submission Requirements and Information. Total Costs are counted against the funding ceiling for Total Direct Costs. This line item must include both Direct and Indirect costs for all Subaward/Consortium organizations (Part 1, Section 4.7.3, Item F. Other Direct Costs of the SF424R&R Application Guide).
