NEW WEB ADDRESS FOR OER WEB SITES - FOLLOW-UP

As announced in the August 13, 1999 NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts, the 
Web address for the OER Grants and Training Opportunities Web sites has 
changed as follows:

Previous Web Address for Grants main page:  http://www.nih.gov/grants/oer.htm
New Web Address for Grants main page:       https://grants.nih.gov/grants/oer.htm

Previous Web Address for Training main page:  http://www.nih.gov/training/
New Web Address for Training main page:       https://grants.nih.gov/training/

All Web pages within these sites have had a similar address change.  As a 
general rule, substituting "grants." for "www." will allow for maintaining 
links from previous bookmarks.  

The new Web site (http://grants...) went into production on August 18, 1999 
and pages have been updated as new information has become available.  
However, pages on the previous site (http://www...) were left intact and 
remain unchanged since August, during a 6-month transition period.  This 
announcement is to notify the community that ALL PAGES FROM THE PREVIOUS SITE 
WILL BE DELETED AS OF MARCH 1, 2000.  Re-director pages from the previous 
site will continue to be in place for top-level and secondary pages for at 
least another 6 months.
