Purpose

This Notice informs the research community that AHRQ announces a new application due date for two AHRQ standing Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA’s).  These include the following program announcements:

For these two large research project and research demonstration FOAs, AHRQ will accept applications for a new receipt date which is:  March 28, 2013.  The open period for these applications will begin February 28, 2013.  AHRQ will accept all competing applications for this new cycle, including new, renewal, and resubmission applications for both FOAs.

Additionally, AHRQ announces a modification in the total budget limit for this new submission date only.  Applications submitted for the March 28, 2013 due date will be allowed to submit projects that contain a budget of up to $500,000 in total annual costs. 

For all remaining application due dates for these two FOAs, the application due dates will revert back to the standard R01 and R18 due dates, which can be found in the FOAs.  Further, application budgets will revert back to the limits indicated within the FOAs.  This budget limit is $250,000 in total annual costs.
