Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to amend PAR-12-206 "Decreasing Patient Radiation Dose from CT Imaging: Achieving Sub-mSv Studies (U01)" to allow participation of non-domestic (Foreign) Organizations, as well as foreign components or sub-contractors of U.S. Organizations.

Section III.1. Eligible Applicants

Currently reads:

Foreign Institutions
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are not eligible to apply.
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U.S. Organizations are not eligible to apply.
Foreign components, as defined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement, are not allowed.

Modified to read:

Foreign Institutions
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply.
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U.S. Organizations are eligible to apply.
Foreign components, as defined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement, are allowed.

All other aspects of the FOA remain unchanged.
