The purpose of this Notice is to clarify a statement that was included 
within the ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS section of RFA DK-02-028.  The 
statement  "Support will not be provided for applications with research 
activities focused exclusively on basic research, or clinical research 
or trials, or epidemiological research" should be replaced with the 
following statement:  "Support will not be provided for applications 
with research activities focused exclusively on clinical research or 
trials, or epidemiological research."

All other aspects of the RFA remain unchanged.
