Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform the prospective applicants and investigator community that the Application Due Date and the AIDS Application Due Date for RFA-CA-13-010 have been changed from January 17, 2014, to January 27, 2014.

RFA-CA-13-010 has been designed to promote and facilitate research on HIV and cancer in Africa through collaborative efforts between investigators in United States and investigators in sub-Saharan African countries. Due to the mourning period after the recent death of Nelson Mandela, many African investigators and institutions will encounter administrative disruptions that will delay obtaining administrative and/or leadership approvals necessary for application submission.

Reflecting this situation, the Key Dates of RFA-CA-13-010 are adjusted as shown below.

Key Dates

All other aspects of the FOA remain unchanged.
