Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to announce a change in RFA number AI 08-003 entitled PARTNERSHIPS FOR POINT OF CARE (POC) DIAGNOSTIC TECHNOLOGIES FOR NONTRADITIONAL HEALTH CARE SETTING (UO11) http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-AI-08-003.html with regard to the scope of this RFA. Research leading to the improvement of an existing tool/technology/method focused solely on HIV/AIDS diagnostics will be viewed as unresponsive to this RFA and will not be reviewed. However, research leading to the improvement of an existing tool/technology/method for pathogens delineated in RFA AI 08-003 in combination with HIV will be accepted.
