Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants of a clarification with regard to information required for the description of Program Advisory Committee composition in RFA-AA-15-001.

Current Language

A Program Advisory Committee shall be established and chaired by the Director.  The application must include a list of at least five (5) members, selected by the Center Director from individuals outside the Center.  These members should be persons of recognized scientific standing who are generally familiar with the Center's activities and represent a cross-section of disciplines that are relevant to the work of the proposed Center.

Revised Language

A Program Advisory Committee, composed of at least five (5) individuals outside the Center, shall be established and chaired by the Director. Applicants are not required to list the names of potential members in the application. However, they must describe their expertise and qualifications. These members should be persons of recognized scientific standing who are generally familiar with the Center's activities and represent a cross-section of disciplines that are relevant to the work of the proposed Center.

All other aspects of this FOA remain the same.
